Pediatric Development and Behavior Clinic

The Pediatric Development and Behavior Clinic assists children, adolescents and young adults (through graduate school) with developmental, attention, learning, behavioral and emotional concerns.

Dr. Lynn M. Wegner, a developmental-behavioral pediatrician and chief of the UNC Division of Pediatric Developmental-Behavioral Medicine at N.C. Children's Hospital, sees patients at the N.C. Children's Specialty Clinic in Raleigh one day a week. She is accompanied by a psychologist who can provide psychoeducational and neuropsychological testing.
The Development and Behavior Clinic offers:

  • Medication management for patients with ADHD, anxiety, depression, aggression and tic disorders.
  • Social-emotional assessment and formal assessment of autism spectrum disorders for children 5 years and older.

Appointments

All patients must have a referring physician's request for consultation. Children less than 5 years of age referred to the clinic should have prior speech/language and occupational therapy evaluations. Appointments may be scheduled by calling (919) 843-2325.
