Pediatric Sickle Cell Clinic

The UNC Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology’s Sickle Cell program is one of only 10 sickle cell centers in the United States. New patients are seen first in the Chapel Hill Sickle Cell Clinic but can receive their follow-up care at the N.C. Children’s Specialty Clinic in Raleigh.

Comprehensive appointments are scheduled to address the medical, social and psychological needs of the sickle cell patient. On-site laboratory is available if needed.
